Comment on this image collection: Cytochemical staining was performed on a fresh bone marrow specimen at our institution. It showed positive staining for Non-Specific Esterase (NSE - see below) and Sudan Black B (SBB), while Periodic Acid Schiff (PAS) staining was negative (no illustration). Cytochemical staining performed on the specimen sent to the outside institution showed clear positivity for Non-Specific Esterase (NSE) staining (no illustration).
