Immunophenotyping: Immunophenotyping performed on a bone marrow specimen showed the following cellular populations: lymphocytoid at 16%, monocytoid at 14%, granulocytoid at 25% and erythroid precursors at 12%. The blastic gate, consisting of 30% of the sample cells, contained an immature myeloid population of about 40% of the cells with the following profile: CD34+, CD33+, CD13+, CD14-, CD15-, and HLA-DR+.

Comment on this image collection: Immunophenotyping showed the presence of an immature myeloid population consisting of 40% of the cells. The results are consistent with an acute myeloid leukemia.
