Sort of case report: In clinical view
Medical history: The patient had experienced symptoms of tiredness and an increasing dyspnea for about three weeks. When he or she began to experience fever and night sweats, he or she visited the clinic. The patient was admitted with a fever and dyspnea with a possible anemia.
Clinical Examination: Upon examination of a peripheral blood smear, no myeloid cells were seen and the case was referred to Hematology for further investigation of a suspected leukemia.

Diagnosis: Acute Myeloid Leukemia of the M6b subtype, also known as acute erythroid leukemia or pure erythroid leukemia.
Differential diagnosis: Myelodysplastic Syndrome
