Immunophenotyping: Immunophenotyping performed on fresh marrow showed well defined mononuclear cell populations in the Side Scatter and CD45 plot. In the CD45-SSC Plot is a lymphocytoid population consisting of 23%, a monocytoid population consisting of 16%, a blastoid population consisting of 55%, and a granulocytoid population consisting of 6% of the total cells in the sample. In the lymphoblastoid gate, is a population of cells with the following aberrant phenotype which comprise 70% of the cells in this gate: CD19+, CD2+, CD10+, CD22+, CD34+, HLA DR+, and KORSA+.
Comment on this image collection: The findings are typical for an acute lymphoid leukemia of the c-ALL subtype.
